Stewardship at St. Peter’s
Our wardens, treasurer, and vestry have carefully worked through our budget and we are running a tight ship. They have also developed modest sources of income from our fruitful partnership with Beacon Montessori School and from our solar panels. Most people know that we receive no money from the Diocese of Massachusetts and depend upon our parishioners to pay our bills. The good part of this system is that it gives us a degree of independence to make our own choices, but it also means that what happens at St. Peter’s depends upon us.
The pledges we receive in the fall are how we are able to put together next year’s budget. Now, therefore, is the time for St. Peter’s friends and family to pull together and pledge so that our budget ensures St. Peter’s is sustainable for decades to come.
If you haven’t pledged to St. Peter’s in the past and you want St. Peter’s to be able to take advantage of the present moment, please do so. It can be in any amount that works for you. Each pledge is heartening and makes a difference.
To simplify the pledging process, we have provided some easy links below as guidance.
