Children & Families
One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.
Psalm 145:4
We Are Glad You Are Here
At St. Peter’s, families are full participants in the life of the Church. We rejoice in the presence of young voices and growing families as we worship together.
Children are invited to remain with their parents or caregivers throughout the service. For those who need a little extra room to move, a quiet play area is available at the back of the church, where families can comfortable participate in worship while children play nearby.
Growing in Faith Together
Holy Baptism is the sacramental beginning of the Christian life. We are honored to baptize children and adults throughout the year. More information can be found under the “Worship” tab.
During worship, youth in grades 3 -12 are encouraged to serve as acolytes, lectors (readers), and intercessors (leading prayers).
Confirmation preparation is typically offered every other year for 8th and 9th graders.
If you are interested in any of these offerings or would like to learn more about what they mean, we would be glad to speak with you. Please contact the church office: office@stpetersweston.org.
