“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are
varieties of ministries, and the same Lord…For even as the body is one
and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they
are many, are one body, so also is Christ.”1Corinthians 12:4-12

Stewardship 2008
Update!
Our 2008 Stewardship campaign is rapidly
coming to an end, and we are closing in
on
our goal. Thus far, with 126 families having
pledged, we are 94% of the way toward
achieving this year's objective. If you
have not yet pledged or contributed for
2008,
help us to sustain this community of faith
by
doing so as soon as possible.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
As we begin our 2008 Stewardship campaign, Each of Us Giving – All of
Us Growing, our goals are simple and our mission clear:
1. To become a Total Stewardship Parish, we seek a 100% response
rate to our pledge campaign, and
2. To make it easier than ever for you to make your pledge.
Our annual campaign is the time that we joyfully acknowledge that all we
have and all we have become are through the gifts that God has given us. As Stewards of these gifts, it is our choice as to how we use them - how we allocate our time, what we do with our talent, how we spend our treasure. In becoming a Total Stewardship Parish, we are providing every member of the St. Peter’s Community an opportunity to make a conscious decision as to how you will use your gifts in the year ahead. While a pledge is as personal as a prayer, a returned pledge card – even without a commitment of your time, talent or treasure - is an acknowledgement that you have made a considered and prayerful decision as to how you will use your God given gifts.
To assist you in making your pledge, we are pleased to offer a new and easier way to support our parish – Automated Giving through Parish Pay. With Parish Pay, you can make your monthly or annual financial contribution electronically, direct from your checking, savings or credit card account. Our vestry and finance committee has embraced this program as a means to help you commit to a prayerful, budgeted amount to be deducted from a bank account or a credit card on an annual or monthly basis.

Over the next few weeks, please give serous consideration as to how you might contribute to God's mission here at St. Peter’s. To become a Total Stewardship Parish, to better share our time and talents, and at this moment most critically, your treasure it is essential that we hear from everyone.
Sincerely, Thomas R. Keery, II on behalf of the 2008 Stewardship Committee
We invite you to explore this Stewardship section of St. Peter's website to
find out more about Stewardship. Notably, you will find information on our Vestry's
commitment to Stewardship, what a pledge is, how much members of St. Peter's
pledge, how much you could consider pledging, and how to make a pledge yourself.
