About The Book of Common Prayer and the Hymnal
The worship service uses texts from the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church and hymns found in the Hymnal. Both books may be found in the pew racks. The service is Holy Communion and begins on page 355 of the Prayer Book. Hymns are indicated by hymn number (not page number) and are posted on the hymn boards in the front of the church. The order of service is listed in the Sunday service leaflet printed with announcements for each week. All are welcome to take full part in our worship regardless of denomination.
How do I get around inside the building?
The parish hall entry door opens into the parish hall. The Nursery, Pre-K and K – 2 classrooms are located down the hallway to the right. To gain access to the church, go through the parish hall and up the stairs to the entryway of the church itself. Or, enter the church through the main outside doors by the pillars. The parish office, clergy offices, and the Bidwell Room library are on the same level as the church. The third floor includes church school meeting space and the music room. Rest rooms are located at the end of the hallways on the lower level and the church level.
Coffee Hour Fellowship
An informal time of fellowship follows the 10:00 AM service in the parish hall. Stairways are located at either end of the church
building. Persons with disabilities may exit through the chapel door and follow the paved walkway to the parish hall entry without encountering any steps.
